New Drains: It was resolved to lay new drains in Jubilee Avenue and Tudor-street as soon a,s the Council found it convenient to do so. Removal of Shell and Sand : Mr. Philson moved, and it wa.> carried, " That no future applications for the removal of shell arc! sand from tho Cheltenham Beach be grant- : cd." The mover stated that it was a shame to see the manner in which the beach was being destroyed by persons removing the sand, ; etc.
