A HUSBANDS' PROTECTION SOCIETY

On" Sunday afternoon (May 12) a conference of husbands afflicted with drunken wives was held at St. George's Hall, Westminster Bridge Road, called at the instance of Mr. R. A Bender, of the Newington Reform Club, Walworth. The object of the conference was the formation of a Husbands' Protection Society. Mr. T. Ryan presided.
