THE REFUGEE CAMPS.
CAUSE OF MORTALITY. (Received June 22, 12.59 a.m.) London, June 21. The Boer refugee camps in Orange Colony, besides nine for natives, require a weekly importation of 88 tons of foodstuffs. The average mortality in these camps is 116 per 1000 per annum, being largely the result of the Boers' disregard of sanitation, and the women's neglect of their children.
