AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET. The market was quiet yesterday, the only business done being in investment stocks, New Zealand Insurances changing hands at 60s and 63s 6d. In mining lines, buyers of Monowais advanced a shade with offers of 2s 3d, sellers firm at 3s 3d. Upper names lines had fair attention from buyers. Waihi Extended were offered at 4s 4<l. "with buyer., at 3s lid. Komata Reefs at 2s 4d were wanted at 2s. 2d. In Goromandei and other lines, late prices ruled.

The manager (Mr. J. J!. S. Wilson) of the Kuaotuiiti Syndicate's property, at K.uaotunu, having resigned on recount of illhealth, Mr. (i. W. Horn, late manager of the Hauraki Mines (Limited). Coromandei. has been appointed as manager of tie- mine in his stead. Mr. Horn is intimately acquainted with the company's property, having served the Mariposa (hud Mining Company for a considerable time in an important position.
