PATHETIC SCENE IN COURT.
The Horsham Times, Victoria, describes a painful scene in the local Court. A case of : some _ interest was in progress, and , the witness in the box was being intently listened to, when, suddenly it became - evident that something was amiss -with a 'juryman— leading farmer of : the district. The "re- ' porter in Court (says the Times) will not soon forget the fearful look of ; agony on that man's face. "On that day in Court," said > the gentle- ' man in question— • Thomas. Lawes, of ■ Greenland Dam, near Horsham—when chatting to our reporter, "I had my first attack of rheumatic gout. Later on, the pain« became worse, and I was unable to lift my right arm; ;it seemed paralysed with pain. : For .'.the next eight years I was a victim to this complaint, suffering ■ more or;- less, but for seven or eight weeks of each year I was in fearful agony, unable to sleep at night or move about in the day. My joints were swollen, stiff, and: tender; every movement • caused agony. My food had to be cut up for me, and I was as helpless as a. child. I consulted an experienced doctor, but despite his skill I did not recover.' Y Then I used "j; many advertised medicines without avail. At last my wife persuaded me to try Dr. Williams' pink pills for pale people. After taking six boxes the pains left me, and my general health greatly improved.. A few more boxes completed my cure, which I am sure is permanent. lam now strong and well, and although sixty-one years of age feel like a young man." ■ .. .. It is impure blood which causes rheumatic gout and kindred diseases!. Dr. Williams* pink pills, by enriching and purifying the blood and retoning the nerves, euro these complaints, and anaemia, debility, dyspepsia, : chronic headaches, palpitations, ladies' ailments, insomnia, etc. Sold •by : chemists and storekeepers, and by the Dr. Williams' Medicine; Company, Wellington, three shillings per box, six boxes sixteen and six, post free. As Mr. Lawes is a well-known tem-■ - perance advocate and worker in the Bible Christian Church, his words can be implicitly relied upon. ' ,■■
