London, March 18. The New Zealand Shipping Corn, pany's steamer Tongariro lias been'! towed in a disabled condition by the transport Norhani Castle to Ascen-; sion.
The Tongariro is i\ now steamer and ii on her maiden voyage from London to New, Zealand, having left > London on February' 27 for Capetown with a largo number o£, troops on board. She is a similar stesmori to the Rimutaka, which was recently in v Auckland, and is fitted with* twin, ' screws.
