ELECTRIC POWER FOR CHRISTCHURCH.
[by telegraph.— association.] Christchurch, Tuesday. Mr. W. Reece, Mayor of Christchurch, who is leaving on a visit to Europe, will take with him copies, of plans tor an electric plant in connection with the Waimakariri scheme for supplying power to Christchurch. He will obtain estimates of cost and mak* inquiries as to the most suitable plant.
