The box plan for the benefit performance to be tendered by Mr. P. R. Dix to the Auokland Ladies' Benevolent Society on Thursday next will be open at Wildman and Lyell's from this morning. Judging from the interest being taken in the benefit, the booking will be extensive.
It will be seen from our advertising columns that a steamer will leave the ferry tee to-day on an excursion to Heliers Bay and Ran/w&nio Island.
