NELSON A GRICULTURAL SHOW.
(BY telegraph. —PßESS ASSOCIATION.] Nelson, Wednesday. The weather was magnificent for the second day of the agricultural show, and the attendance was very large. The Hon. T. Duncan, Minister for Agriculture, formally opened the show, congratulating the district on its excellence. He spoke of the district possessing exceptional advantage, and alluded to the prospects of advancement, now that the Midland railway area was to be settled. Great interest was taken today in the driving, riding, and jumping contests, and everything passed off satisfactorily.
