New Zealand Herald Office, Monday evening. Messrs. Richard Abthcti and Co. sold by auction to-day an allotment in Cook-stre?,, 56ft by 83ft, with a residence of six rooms, for £435. An allotment, 23ft by 67ft, with a cottage of five rooms, in Cook-street, was passed in at £350, which was the highest Did. Allotment 73, Waikiekie highway district, Whangarei, 100 acres, part bush and grass, was sold for 83 per acre. The other properties offered were passed in. Messrs. S. The vehicles advertised were in good repair and sold fairly well.
