[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Gheymouth, Saturday. The coal exports for the week were : — Blackball, 2146 tons 7cwt ; Brunner, 1917 tons. Westport, Sunday. The coal output last week was 10,048 tons llcwt, of which the Westport Coal Company shipped 9791 tons 15cwt, and the Westport Co-operative Company 257 tons 16cwt. Wellington, Saturday. The Wellington Wharf Labourers' Union has again fileaa dispute with the employers with the clerk of award. The demands are the same as before. Dunedin, Saturday. The Otago representatives at the Educational Institute's annual conference are Messrs. W. Burnett. Flatman, A. Hodge, Jeffery, Mac Donald, Waddell, Smith, Miss Hooper. Mr. Davidson, of Mornington, attends as a member of the Executive. Christchxjrch, Saturday. An inquest was held to-day on the body of Anne Maria Mitchley, 51 years of age, who died in the hospital. There was suspicion that a blow in the abdomen she had received from a man who was living with her had more or less directly caused death. This was not supported by evidence, and the coroner directed the jury to that effect.
