The Papakura Road Board hereby give notice that they propose to borrow from the Government, under the provisions of the Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886, and its amendments, the sum of £1600. for the construction of road works, for 41 years at 3i per cent., as allocated hereunder: — For the Main Valley Road.— Between the Great South Road and Scales' Lane : Metalling with broken stone throughout. £570 ; Earthwork, £200 ; Bridge, £14. 2. Between Seales' Lane and the east foot of Church Hill: Widening, metal, and earthwork, £40. 3. Between Church Hill and north sido of Bridge, by Mrs. Kemp's farm: Metalling the unmetalled portions, £430; earthwork. £100 ; bridges. £60. Mill Road : Metalling from Valley Road in as far as money will allow, £100. Ardmore Road: Metalling from bridge to first culvert and earthwork. £30.
