SALE OF PRIZE STOCK

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company held a sale at the Junotion Yards, yesterday, of prize stook exhibited at the Auckland Agricultural Show. Buyers were numerous, and all the lots submitted were knocked down at satisfactory prices by Mr. H. 0. Nolan, who was in his usual capacity of auctioneer. Mr. Jas. Close's exhibition bullock wont to Mr. W. 3. Fagan at 24s per 1001b, and a fat ox, sold on account of Williamson Brothers, and a second prizetaker, was knocked down to the same gentleman at £16 17s 6d. Mr. Alf. Kidd's two third-prize fat steers were purchased by Messrs. R. and W. Hollaby at £15. A number of prize sheep wore also disposed of. Dey, 5 wethers, jhorn, third prize, 19s 6d, R. and W. Hellaby; Thos. Coates. 5 Down wethers, first prize, 19s, R. Tyndall; Thomas Coates, 5 Down wethers, ■second prize, 18s 6d, R. S.
