THE WELLINGTON MEETING. [by telegraph.—press ASSOCIATION, J Wellington, Tuesday.' AT the Hutt course this morning Glenogie ran six furlongs, the last five in lm. 10s. Cceur de Lion and Sirius went once round, only half-a-mile at top, the latter, with a tighter weight, having a slight advantage'. Oracle finished comfortably in a mile gallop with Whitney, - doing the last seven furlongs in lm. 355. _ The Shannon and Heiress did fix furlongs in lm. 195., which was the best gallop of the morning. Advance did gentle pacing. Salute and Lord Raglan covered six furlongs together in lm. 225. . Tortulla and Fashion finished over seven furlongs in lm. 345., the six furlcHgs taking lm. 19£s. Tortulla was going strongest at the finish. Sentry and Ostiak paced a little, and Rufcmahunga moved freely over seven furlongs after a round, looking fit. Materoa beat Scottish Minstrel over a mile in lm. 495. Art Jewel and Raparapa covered seven furlongs together. White Heather ran away from Waterford in an easy six furloiigs on the plough, and Maiwood led Kent over five furlongs. The meeting takes place on Thursday aud Saturday. DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB. The D.J.C. committee, after an exhaustive inquiry into the running in the Farewell Handicap at the spring meeting, resolved that while the running of Jupiter and Maremma was of an exceedingly suspicious and unsatisfactory character, the evidence was not sufficient to warrant the carrying of a motion for the disqualifying of these horses, the riders, and owners. TAKAPUNA JOCKEY CLUB'S SPRING MEETING. By an oversight Voltigettr 11. was omitted from tho horses handicapped in the Stenplochase, tho list of which appeared on Saturday. Mr. Knight has since allotted him list. Bluejacket was yesterday struck out of the St. Andrew's Handicap, and Nor'-west out of the Steeplechase. Acceptances for all races to bo decided in the first day and for the Handicap Steeplechase (second day) close on Friday, November 23, at nine p.m. The privileges of the meeting are to be offered by auction on Friday next, at noon by Messrs.
