THE PLAGUE: AN OPEN LETTER TO THE PEOPLE OP NEW ZEALAND. May 1, 1900. In bringing presumably under the notice of tho public of Australasia generally, and of Now Zealand in particular, at the present moment, tho merits and curative powers of Vitadatio, I am not actuated by a spirit of commercial enterprise or gain. Its curative properties are so well known—in fact, are a household word in theso colonies—that it is unnecessary to allude to them; but it is to its efficacy as an antidote to blood poisoning, as well as a curative, that I wish to allude. Tho blood is the life; impnre blood makes itself manifest in countless ways; the system becomes liko a drought-stricken district, that readily absorbs any sort of moisture. So it is with tho human system. If the blood is pure, it will not absorb ovory microbe that approaches it; or, if it does succeed in getting a hold it will be in a lesser degree and much more easily dealt with. Twelvo months ago I sent a caso of Vitadatio to Madras, and wrote the authorities thoro my strong conviction that it would be found by them to be a sure antidote for this great scourge (tho plague), but presume professional jealousy has prevented a trial being given to it; at any rate, I have received no reply or report of any sort as to its effects. My own opinions and convictions are formed from my own actual observations and experiences of cases of blood disorders and poisonings; and so positivo am I that Vitadatio Will Prevont and Cure the Plague, that, I will give £10 to the first person who takes tho plague Whilst Taking Vitadatio, satisfactory proof that the medicine has been taken alone being required by mo, and that proof a simple one, viz., that tho medicine is purchased at the Auckland Institute, 350, Queen-strect.-Youra truly, S.
