A MAN SHOOTS HIMSELF.
[by. temgiuph.-prkss association.] TIMAItU, Monday. James Quintan, a labourer, aged 50 years, a widower, living with bis children in a suburban street, shot himself in the house last night. Death was instantaneous. He had been complaining of his health lately, and seemed stupid. At the inquest a verdict of temporary insanity was' returned.
