[lIV TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Monday. Owing to the great public interest concerning the long-delayed relief of Mafeking it is intended to announce the news when received by flag signal from the General Post Office, and by firing a few detonating rockets. Should the news arrive by night a large arc light will be lit at the top of the post office tower, bells will be rung, and rockets fired. Instructions have been given to other post offices in the province that tower bells shall he rung and rockets fired. Instructions have also been given In other post offices in the colony to do whatever they can to announce the news promptly.
