"SHE HAD NO APPETITE AT ALL"

"AND WAS LITERALLY WASTING

AWAY INSTEAD OF GROWING." TvriCAL canes for the Scott's Emulsion treat ment aro thoso whore children are either dolicato from birth, or from some unknown cause seem to bo declining in health.

We tako great pleasure in introducing a letter from Mrs. J. G. Ridley, of Portsmouth, who says:—

" 65, Crcssy Road,

"Landport, Portsmouth, England,

November 14, 1898. " Doar sirs,—l have great pleasure in writ* ing to toll you of tho very beneficial results your Scott's Emulsion has had on both my children. My little girl was very delicate and puny from birth, and nothing wo tried seemed to do her any good. She had no appetite at all, and was literally wasting away instead of growing. Hearing of Scott's Emulsion, I thought I would give it a trial. After' she had taken tho first bottle wo noticed a marked improvement in her, and her appetite was better. I continued giving her the preparation all through tho winter, and I believe it saved her life, hast month both of them (the girl and baby) had a severe attack of bronchitis, and I immediately procured anothor bottlo of Scott's Emulsion, with tho result that they soon got better, and I do not intend being without it tins winter. I liava recommended it to several friends, and they all speak highly of it; amongst them Mrs. Dingloy, of 74, Cressy Road, who, on my advice, sent for a bottle, and she wishes me to state that her baby's cough is much bettor, and she is going to continuo its use for a time.

" Yours respectfully,

" (Signed) MRS. J. G. RIDLEY."

The reason Scott's Emulsion is so adapted to tho ailments of children is to be found in the fact that it contains cod-liver oil, glycerine, and hypophosphites in scientific proportions, and in a palatable and easy form for digestion. The glycerine in Scott's Emulsion greatly 'acilitates the absorption of tho oil, while the hypophosphites aid digestion, stimulate tho appetite, .nourish the bones and nerves, and sustain the brain. You could not possibly find a more idoal combination, or a remody so splendidly adapted to all the wasting tendencies of the human body. Scott's Emulsion is effectual in coughs and colds, weak lungs, consumption, bronchitis, scrofula, anaemia, marasmus, rickets,.and all wasting conditions of children.
