RE MATINEE ON SATURDAY.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—Allow mo by tho means of your paper to suggest an improvement in the arrangements of the matinoo given by Mr. Pollard. Being tho father of four children, and not possessing many of tho almighty dollars, I took tho opportunity of tho reduced prices for the opera on Saturday to give my children a little amusement. After considerable difficulty, I, with my young ones, managed to get past the doorway, and I made an effort to get tho tickets. After doing so I turned to where I had last seen my children, but tlioy had boon jostled about, ami had bocomo separated, so that I found it impossible to reach them in order to give them their tickets, tho result boing that by the time wo managed to get into the house most of tho scats near the front were occupied. Surely, sir, it would bo far more convenient if the tickets for the stalls wero obtainable at one of the shops in Queen-street and thus save considerable time.— am, etc., H.N.C, Ponsonby.
