THE TOMOANA. Tile Tyeer liner Tomoana. was released from quarantine or/, Saturday afternoon, and came up ' harbour and berthed at the Queen-street Wharf. Captain Fishwick has his fine vessel in splendid order throughout. The work of discharging cargo will he commenced this morning. Mr. Arthur 11. Nathan is agent for the Tomoana. which proceeds South after discharging and taking in cargo for London.

THE WAIIIORA. The Union Company's steamer \vainora was released from quarantine yesterday, and came up the harbour and berthed at the Queen-street Wharf in the afternoon, where her passengers were disembarked. The \Vaihora leaves for East Coast and Southern ports to-morrow afternoon.

THE MARAROA. The Union Company's " steamer Mararoa, Captain Edwin Phillips, arrived from Southern and East Coast ports yesterday morning, berthing at Quay-street Jetty No. 2. Mr. W: fndler. the onrser, reports that the steamer left Dnnedin at 4 p.m. on the Ist Inst., and called at Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier, and Oishorne. leaving the latter port at 11.30 a.m. on the 6th inst., and arriving as above. Pine weather was experienced throughout the passage. The Mararoa proceeds on to Sydney at 5 p.m. to-day.

THE OVALAU. „ , The Union Company's steamer Ovalau, Captain F. W. Macbeth, from the Eastern Pacific with a cargo of pearlsbell, copra, fruit, etc., was granted pratique on Saturday morning, and berthed at tho Qneeivstrcot Wharf to discharge. Mr. James A. Tubby, the purser, reports: Tho Ovalau left Auckland at 8 p.m. on the 10th tilt., and anchored off Rarotonga at 3.30 a.m. on the 18th. Left that port at 1.30 p.m. the same date, and reached Papeete at 9 a.m. on the 21st. Left again at 6 p.m. on the 22nd, and anchored off Huahine at 5 a.m. on the 23rd, leaving at 2 p.m. the same date, and anchoring at Rarotonga at 9 p.m. on the 25th. Finished loading at 2 p.m. on the 27th, and left for Auckland, arriving at 11.30 p.m. on the 4tli inst. Experienced westerly and south-westerly winds from Rarotonga to port. The Ovalau leaves for the Islands again on Wednesday evening.
