[HY TELEGRAI'IT.— ASSOCIATION] CiinisTCiti'RCiT, Thursday. A xi'MiiKß of butchers met the Select Committee of the City Council to-night, to discuss the question of abattoirs. The butchers stated they would patronise the abattoirs erected by the Council, if situated conveniently to town or on the line of railway, but they insisted on the necessity for inspection being compulsory, so as to put all butchers on an equality.
