Mr. C. Evensen has received a first award certificate for his model of the Kathleen mine, and Die Command#) School of Mines obtained first award for their exhibit, of specimens, . ' rhe Coromamlel Corps held a Government inspection parade last night, Captain Grant, adjutant of the district being inspector. The corps was put through various movements by Captain kenrick, Lieutenant McCarthy and Sergeant Tarrant. The adjutant congratulated the corps upon the progress it had made.
At the Magistrate's Court this morning before Messrs. T. W. Rhodes and J. B.
