TAIRUA. March 13.—Sailed: Aratapu, brigantine, for Wellington. GISBORNE. March 13.—The schooners Awanui and Saxon have arrived with timber. The Aotea and Waiapu were detained several dais owing to bad weather, and left yesterday for Auckland and tho coast respectively. The Indraghiri took from this port cargo valued at £26,161. NEW PLYMOUTH. March 13.—Arrived: Gairloch, s.s., from Onehunga. Sailed: Gairloch, s.s., for Onehunga. WELLINGTON. March Arrived: Papanui, s.s., from London, via Auckland. She encountered the full force of the southerly gale yesterday. Sailed: Rotomahana. s.s., for Lyttelton; Poherua, s.s.. for Auckland; Flora, s.s., for Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. Passengers: Miss Benson. Mrs. Restell. Messrs. Carey, Jeffreys, Millun, Kirkman, Webber, Jackson, Restell. TIMARU. March 13.—Arrived: Rangatira, 8.8., from Lyttelton. BLUFF. March 13.-Arrived: Monowai, s.s., from Melbourne and Hobart; llesketh, s.s., from Greymouth. THE SCHOONER SIR HENRY. COLLING\YOOD, March 13.-The schooner Sir Henry, which was stranded at Farewell Spit, was floated off yesterday. It is believed no serious damage has been sustained. Captain Bendall, who arrived here last oreuing from Nelson, is now returning. THE TAKAPUNA, WELLINGTON, March 13.-Sailed, last night: Takapuna. s.s., for Nelson. New Plymouth. and Onehunga. Passengers: Mesdames Levlsohn, Hall, Baker, Dixon and child, and maid, Hunt, Clear. Misses Cohen, Hall, Messrs. Baker, Dixon. Ferguson, Hunt. Levisohn, Prevard. THE ROTOMAHANA. WELLINGTON, March 13.-Arrived: Rotomahana. s.s.. from Lyttelton. The steamer, being unable to pick up tho Heads yesterday, put about, and. as was anticipated, took shelter in Cloudy Bay, resuming her passage this morning. A heavy sea was encountered crossing the Straits this morning. THE WAKANUI. WELLINGTON, March 13.-The New Zealand Shipping Company's new steamer Wakanui left Plymouth for Wellington on tho 10th inst., on her maiden voyage.
