The annual meeting of the Acclimatisation Society is to bo held in the Museum Buildings at two p.m. to-morrow. An adjourned meeting of the supporters of Mr. R. Salmon will be held in the Foresters' Hall, Karangaliapo Road, to-morrow evening. The concert to be given bj St. Patrick's Cathedral choir this evening promises to bo a great success. Special interest is centred in the production of a "Benediction Service." and "Ecoc Saecrdos," composed by the Rev. Father Kehoe, of St. John's, Parnell. Admission is free. A collection will bo made during the interval towards the Bishop's testimonial. Mr. R. MoVeagli gives an address at the New Zealand Natives' Association this evening on " Men that have Fought and Died for New Zealand." Members and friends are cordially invited to bt present. During the evening the prizes won at the association s recent sports will be handed by the president to the successful competitors.
