It is the intention of tho Executive of the Auckland Industrial and Mining Exhibition .to dovoto the afternoon of FRIDAY. February 3, to the Entertainment of Old Identities of 50 years' residence in tho City of Auckland and district. All Old Identities of above standing, who are desirous of taking part, will please send in their names and addresses to the underSigned, together with the name of the ship in which they arrived and date of landing. The Executive Committee have decided to hold a Second Dramatic Recitation Contest, only, which will take place on TUESDAY AFTERNOON and EVENING, January 31. The Competition will be open to all bona fide amateurs, as defined on the last occasion, excepting only the winner of the Gold Medal at tho previous contest. The rules will be exactly the same as before, oxcept that no entrance fee will be charged. Gold and Silver Medals will be awarded for first and second prises respectively. At the request of Mr. Hart and Mr. Montague, Judges in previous competition, Mr. J. M. Clark has kindly consented to act as judge upon this occasion.
