MEETING OF THE OPPOSITION,
A PLATFORM CAMPAIGN. [BY TKLEGIUriI.— COHBESrONPEXT.] ■Wellington, Monday. A mewing of members of the Opposition was held in the Chamber of Commerce tonight. General, questions were discussed at length, and it was resolved to place the political position "fully before the country, from tho platform, during the autumn, and that Captain Russell should open the campaign in about a month. A General Election Committee was set tip, of which Mr. John limbic is to be chairman, to correspond with supporters in the various constituencies and assist to arrange for candidates, also for speakers wherever required.
