A SINGULARLY SUCCESSFUL ISSUE.
SECOND EDITION NOW READY.
We hare to announce to the public that the first edition of the New Zealand Herald and Auckland Weekly News Exhibition Number has been exhausted, and that, as there is still a considerable demand for copies, a second edition of a limited number of copies has been printed, for which an early application should be made. The fact that the Exhibition Number has run into a second edition establishes another record in colonial journalism,'as the proprietors made their first edition an abformally large one, owing to the fact that the whole edition of the Christmas Number of the Auckland Weekly News, which was issued prior to the Exhibition Number, was exhausted within a few weeks of publication. On all sides the most flattering opinions are still being received about the Exhibition Number, and many peoplo residing outside the colony, who have had copies posted to them, are enthusiastic in their praises.
