COMPULSORY ARBITRATION.
DISCUSSION IN ENGLAND.
VIEWS OF CHIEF JUSTICE RUSSELL. By Telegraph.— Association.— London, November 3. Mr. W. P. Reeves has given an address on the subject of compulsory arbitration in New Zealand.
Mr. Tozer, in criticising Mr. Reeves' statements, advised Great Britain to exercise caution in adopting the principle.
Chief Justice Russell thought it was undesirable to place on the judges the enforcement of such a law.
