The Government steamer Hinemoa was at East Cape Island when the Te Anau passed on Wednesday, lauding stores, timber, etc. for the workmen engaged in tile erection of the lighthouse on the island. Nathan and Co., inform us that the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's steamer lonic left London on October 29 for Capetown, Hobart, Wellington, and Lyttelton. The Union Company's steamer Te Anau Captain John Bernecli, arrived from Southera and East Coast ports at noon yesterday with a number of passengers and a quantity of general cargo. Mr. 11. E.
