In the first they found nothing to justify arrests, but in the second they captured six men who were to 7t . was , in a ™» «& back of a bookseller's shop in Cuba-street leased by James Simmons/one of those a ! rested, who was charged with keeping a common gaming house, and the others with being on the promises. Simmons, as keener of a gaming house, was fined £50 and costs, or three months' imprisonment. The others wore fined £1 each and costs. All pleaded
