THE ATTEMPTS TO BURN DOWN A SCHOOL
[BY TELEGRAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] COROMANDEL, Wednesday. Detective Herbert is now in Coromandel assisting Constable Law in unravelling the mystery connected with the two recent incipient fires that have occurred in the Driving Creek School. It is understood a trail of some importance has been located, and that possibly something definite may soon eventuate. In any case an inquiry is almost sure to be held, when probably important evidence will be adduced.
