THE HOLIDAY AT THAMES.
[By telegraph,— correspondent.] < Thames, Saturday. The holiday to-day passed off very pleasantly, and was free from accidonts of any kind. Of course, the chief feature of tho day was tho Sunday-school picnics at Parawai, all of which were very largely attended and passed off without a hitch. Another attraction was the hack race meeting on the Parawai racecourse, which attracted a considerable number of people. The weather throughout the day was most pleasant.
