A DIVIDEND DECLARED. An ordinary general meeting of shareholder* of the Auckland Gas Company was held at the company's office, Wyndham ■ street yesterday afternoon, for the purpose of declaring a dividend. Mr. J. H« therefore proposed that a dividend of 7s fr.l per share on the fully paid-up shares be paid, and at a proportionate rate on the partially paid-up shares. Mr. McNab seconded the motion,, which was carried unanimously. The Chairman announced that the dividend would be payable next day.
