The first one ever landed and exhibited in the colony. Direct from Mr. Thomas A. Edison's Laboratory. Its advantages over all other instruments of its kind are numerous. All of them are lint a poor imitation of Mr. Kdiaon's Original Vatescnpe. The' 97 Model Projectoscopo is the latest product' of the Edison Laboratory, and embodies many improvements of this great inventor. The absence of any vibratory or wavering motion in the projected scene, which have been so distressing for the eye in all other machin-s, is of very treat benefit. The Phonescopic Machines which Mr. Edison has placed before the public have never been equalled by any other maker. Kdison's Perfected Phonograph has no equal. Edison's Kinetoscope has no equal. Edison's Perfocteil Projectoscope has absolutely no equal. The following are some of the scenes that may be seen in the marvellous machine THE BLACK DIAMOND EXPRESS. A number of workmen are engaged in repairing the road bed. There appears in the distance, just emerging; from the wood, a cloud of white smoke, which within a few seconds shapes itself into the outlines of an approaching train, and then the famous Black Diamond Express thunders past at the rate of 60 miles an hour. Every detail of motion is so clearly defined that even the rapid rise and fall of the piston rods can be plainly seen. Also, many other interesting scenes, including— Tho Widow's i' is 3, The Morning Bath, Umbrella Dance by Leigh Sisters, Caraneval Danco by Leigh Sisters, McKinlcy's Speech, Horse Jumping and Saddle Vaulting, Niagara Falls from Canadian Shore, etc., etc. H.
