THE INSCRIPTION OF VICTORIAN STOCK.

It is believed that the London and Westminster Bank will surrender its contract for the inscription of Victorian Stock upon the payment of a sum of £80,000. The present cost of inscription is £15,000 per annum. If the Victorian Agency - General took over the worst it would be able to inscribe for £3300, effecting a net saving of at least five thousand annually. ________
