THE INSCRIPTION OF VICTORIAN STOCK.
Press Association.—Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. London, July 27. It is believed that the London and Westminster Bank will surrender its contract for the inscription of Victorian Stock upon the payment of a sum of £80,000. The present cost of inscription is £15,000 per annum. If the Victorian Agency - General took over the worst it would be able to inscribe for £3300, effecting a net saving of at least five thousand annually. ________
