[BV TELKCIIAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] Hawkra, Wednesday. Wagstah Bkothkbs' store at Piharaa was completely destroyed by fire yesterday. Nothing was saved. Mr. H. Wag»t«ff bad » narrow escape, getting out almost suffocated by smoke. Wellington, Wednesday. A five-roomed cottage in Hawkestone Crescent was burned at two a.m. It was occupied by Mrs. Srnooke, dressmaker, ft servant, and an infant child, who had a very narrow escape- b# house and furniture are insured in the Phcßiiix Company for £340. ,
