GREEK ADVANCE IN EPIRUS SUSPENDED. RESIGNATION OF THE WAR MINISTER. Greek parliament summoned. Athens, April 27. Tile Greek advance in Epirus has been suspended temporarily. Colonel Metaxas, Minister of Wai", lias resigned office. Athens, April 28. The Greek Chamber has been specially summoned to deal With matters arising out of the war, The Greek forces at Manos,in Epirus, have been reinforced from Affca, preparatory to advancing. The Albanian garrison evacuated Pentepigadi* after its capture by the Turks, and marched to Jan inn. They demanded a new commander, and the Governor oohceded the demand, whereupon they marched back and expelled the Turks from the fort. London, April 28. Sir W. V. Harcourt, speaking at Abertillary, in Monmouthshire, said Lord Salisbury's policy would leave bitter memories of shame and remorse , in English hearts. GREEKS IN AUSTRALIA, Perth, April 38. At a meeting of Greeks they subscribed £300 to the war fund, and cabled that every Man wag willing to leave immediately if their services were required. They pledged themselves to assist to "make Turkey melt in Greece."
