New Zealand Herald Office, Friday evening. Mr. J. Thornes was to have offered several building sites in the city, Ponsouby, etc., today, but probably on account of the day being partially observed as a holiday there was not a large attendance, and the auctioneer stated that the properties would be offered tor sale in a fortnight's time.
