THE OMAHA AND PAKIRI SHOW COMMITTEE.
The annual meeting of aubscriberi to the Omaha and Pakiri Show was held in the hall on April 10, Mr. W. Greenwood in the chair. The secretary (Mr. Alex, Matheson) read the account* in detail. The total receipts were £89 13s lid, and the expenditure £84 7s sd, leaving a balance of £5 6d. The total amount paid in prizes was £56 16s 6d. On the motion of Mr. Joseph Greenwood, seconded by Mr. John Greenwood, it was agreed to pay the secretary the usual remuneration of £3 3s. The accounts were passed by the meeting as read. A vote of thanks was passed to the outgoing committee. Mr. Rwk. Matheson was appointed auditor for the ensuing year. Names of intending subscribers were taken down, and a committee of nine elected to carry out the next year's show, consisting of Messrs. Henry Brown, William Nesley, Alex. Haskell, William Greenwood, J. 0. Wyatt,JosephGreenwood, Thomas Handley, Alex. Matheson, and J. H. Hadwick, Mr. W. Greenwood chairman.
