PERSONAL ITEMS.
Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Lowry, of Napier, are at present on a visit to Auckland. Mr. W. F. Zwech, the pioneer German farmer of the Albury district, died last week. The Right Rev. Bishop Wilson left for Melanesia by the Mission yacht Southern Cross yesterday. Stanbury, the sculler, has purchased a farm at Swan Bay, nearCoraki, and intends settling there at an early date. Mr. W. P. Hall, who has been acting as manager of the Milton branch of the Bank of New Zealand, has now been appointed permanently.
