Mr. Richard Arthcr's Weeklv Report. —Business durina the past week has been brisk in all departments. Furniture in private houses realised higli prices. Potatoes: Prime samples in eood demand, from f 3 lftj to £4: poor and ordinary, £2 to £3, and at per sack. Onions steady, sale from £5 to £6 ton, |d to Jd lb: kuraaras, £5 to £6 ton; pumpkins, rery heavy supplies, £2 to £2 20s ton; citron melons, £1 10s to £2 ton. Southern bacon and hams steady sale. Cheese and butter: Large supplies, brisk demand. Eggs scarce, selling at high prices. Honey quie:. Corned butter: Al quality selling freely. Poultry: Heavy supplies, slightly better than last week; table roosters selling as high as 2s each; others, Is to Is 8d each; ordinary fowls, 10d to Is 6d each; chicks, 3d to Is each; ducks, Is Id to 2s each; turkey gobblers, 3s to 03 each; hens, 2a to 2s 9d each; geese, 2s to 2s 6d each; fresh eggs.
