At a meeting of the Charitable Aid Board a committee was set up to make enquiries concerning a suitable piece of land for a farm for the Benovolent Institution, where work co'ild be given to those able to do it. Mr. Green pointed out that land at Seacliff had been sot apart by the Provincial Governmoot for lunatic asylum and charitable aid purposes. The land was not all in use for asylum purposes, but he supposed they could not axect to get some for the purposes for which it was set apart.
