THE RICHMOND. The Union Company'! steamer Richmond, Captain Norman Beaumont, arrived from Fiji at 2 p.m. yesterday with a cargo of fruit, etc. Mr. J. A. Tubby, the purser, to whom we ere indebted for late Suva papers, reports: —The Richmond left Auckland at 5.30 p.m. on the 30th ult., and coaled at Russell next day. Arrived at Suva at 2 a.m. on the sth instant. Discharged cargo and left for Levuka at 6 a.m. on the 6th, and left Levuka for Suva at 6.30 p.m. the same date, reaching Suva at 2 a.m. on the 7th. Left on the Bth at daybreak, and shipped fruit at Cuvu, Likuri, Rovandran, and Vavau, and got back to Suva at 3.30 p.m. on the 10th, finally leaving for Auckland the same date at 8.20 p.m., and arriving as above. Experienced thick dirty weather with heavy rains the whole time the steamer was in the Fiji Group. Moderate S.E. breezes prevailed for first two days after leaving, followed by variable weather until the morning of the loth, when thick rainy weather set in, lasting to arrival. The Richmond leaves for Wellington at nine o'clock this morning, THE ALAMEDA. The Union Company's steamer Mahinapua, Captain Robertson, arrived yesterday morning, from Southern ports. She left Wellington on the 13th, oalled at New Plymouth, and left the latter port at 8.30 p.m. on the 14th, arriving as above. The steamer left again for New Plymouth and Wellington, at 4 p.m. The Northern Company's steamer Glenelg arrived yesterday morning from Wanganui via Opunake and New Plymouth with passengers, 40 head cattle, 40 sacks hides, and large general cargo.
