The arrangements for the Easter Carnival to be held at the Drill Hall daring Easter week, are now in active progress, and the spectacle will be one of the mosi pleasing that has yet been produced, in Auckland. The oriental style, which is always mosb fascinating, has been introduced as a main feature in the accessories and music and choice side shows will further tend to amuse all who attend. The Thames United .Forettera , Fete to be held on Easter Monday promises to be a most enjoyable and luccessful affair. The Wakatere will run a cheap excursion from Auckland, and every provision wiil be made for the comfort and convenience of excursionist*. Full particulate are advertised elsewhere. ;-.
