[BY IELKQRAra,— association.] Wellington, Monday. In the Divorce Court, this morning, a decreo was made absolute in the ease of Garners versus Osmers, the husband's petition. At the inquest on the body of the jockey Wm. Sharpe, a verdict of death as the result of over indulgence in alcohol, and clots in the heart, was returned. Napier, Monday. John Fitzgerald and Wm, Wilson, who stand committed for trial on a charge of murdering James Mcintosh, wore this morning arraigned on a charge of robbery with violence. As the evidence was exactly similar to that in the alleged murder case the charge was temporarily withdrawn, the Crown Prosecutor intimating that he would prefer an indictment against accused in the Supreme Court for robbery' with violence, in addition to that of murder. Cbristohuboh, Monday. Owing to the difficulty in the way of arranging for railway rolling stock, it has been decided to hold no volunteer camp at Easter. The City Council has decided to appeal against the judgment of Mr. Bishop, 8.M., in the Sydenham sewage cases. . ', Donedin, Monday. Thomas Barrett, who was released from .gaol a few weeks ago on the ground of increasing blindness, after having served about seven years out ,of a term of ten years' penal servitude 3 for. maliciously wounding an old nun named Woods, at Pine Hill, appeared '' at the ' Police Court to-day on a charge of larceny of harness.
