BRITAIN AND THE ORANGE FREE STATE. BRITISH OCCUPATION OF INVACK ISLAND. Prtu AuocUtlOD.—Klectric Telegraph.—CopjttahV. Capetown, April 9. President Steyn, of the Orange Free State, has ignored the telegram published in London papers to the eilcct that the Orange Free State was hostile ;: \ to Gjeat Britain. He says the telegram is beneath his notice. The Cape Argus states that the British squadron will occupy Invack \ Island, at the entrance to Delagoa Buy. Berlin, April 10. The Burghers' Congress held at Heidelberg resolved to petition the Transvaal Government to nationalise the railways and the canal, and to j| create a State dynamite monopoly. ,M
