AUCKLAND AUTUMN MEETING. At Ellerslio on Saturday morning there was a large muster of horses, but the work for the most iiart was of a desultory character. The Easter Handicap favourites Daystar and St. Paul, were each treated to sound work. The posting of the acceptances for the Easter Handicap and Autumn Steeplechase has not led to any noteworthy business being recorded on those events. For the Eajter Handicap, Daystar is quoted at 6 to 4 and St. Paul at i to 1. By the s.e. Manapourj, which arrived vesterday, the two-year-olds St. Couan and Defiant were brought up from Napier for the purDOse ot fulfilling their engagements at the A.B.C. Autumn Meeting.

Betting; sto 2 against Hopscotch, 7 to 2 Adoration, 5 to 1 Right Honourable. Adoration won by half-a-length, a head separating second and third. Time, 2m. Wβ. Clarendon Handicap. Six furlongs. Mr. Justin McSweeney's br in Wahine, 4yrs, oy Trenton—Lady Granville ... 1 Mr. J. Western's brm Old Clo, aged .„ 2 Jack Homer ... '". 3 Four others ran. lime, lm. 17s. THE A.J.C. MEETING. Sydney, April 10. For the Doncaster Handicap Vanitas and Reka at 6 and 8 to 1 respectively are most fancied. For the Sydney Cup Battalion and Tom at S to 1 and Coil at 10 to 1 are the only ones dealt with, Latbr. Though no betting; of any consequence was done, the result of Adoration's wiu has brought her to .14 to 1 for the Doncaster Handicap, and 12 to 1 is on offer against Waihine for the Cup.
