'BY TEI.EnRAPII.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Cukistchokcu, Wednesday. At the inquest on Alice Maud Corliss, who died under chloroform in the hospital, Dr. Pox, the Houso Surgeon, stated that the girl was so bad with goitre when admitted, that the operation was the only chance. He attributed death to asphyxia from goitre pjessure, expedited by tho anesthetic preventing her exorcising her voluntary muscles, A verdict was returned accordingly, the jury adding that every care had been taken.
