SHOT THROUGH THE HAND.

A PAINFUL PISTOL ACCIDENT. [dv telegram,—own correspondent.] Paeroa, Tuesday. A young man named Shaw met with a painful accident to-day. It appears that he was handling a loaded pistol when it suddenly wont off, with the result that the bullet ontored his left hand and passed through from the palm to the back, where it remained under the skin. Dr. Buckley's aervicoa were called into requisition, and the bullet successfully extracted. The patient is now doing as well as could be expected.
