Experienced light breezes, fine clear weather, and smooth sea to the North Cape; thence fresh head winds aud heavy easterly swell. The Anglian leaves for East Coast and Southern ports at 1 p.m. today, and all cargo must be down by 11 a. m, TUB CLANSMAN-A SMART TRIP, Mr. Malcolm Niccol has received a cable message from Captain D. R. Cooper, announcing the arrival of the schooner Clansman at Noumea from Mercury Bay on Friday last after a splendid run of seven days. On discharge of her cargo of timber at Noumea the Clansman will probably proceed to Surprise Island to load guano for a New Zealand port. THE ROTOMAHANA. THE MAMARI.

The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's steamer Mamari, from London to this port, passed Cape Maria Van Diemen at eleven a.m. yesterday, and should arrive about ten o'clock this morning. The steamer has about 4000 tons of general cargo, the larger portion of which is for this port. Having t. laree quantity of explosives the steamer will anchor at the Powder Ground.

THE CANADIAN MAIL. The local agents, Messrs. L. 1). Nathan and Co., informs us that the mail steamer Warrimoo arrived at Vancouver from Sydney on Saturday last, and leaves for way ports and Sydney on Thursday next.
